•Recruited as interim Vice President – Global Business Development & Strategic Alliances by global business process outsourcing (BPO) corporation.  Responsible for Global Business Development, Business Transformation, International Strategic Alliances, Joint Ventures and Partnerships in the United States, United Kingdom, India, Philippines, Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand. •Recruited as interim President and Chief Operating Officer by start-up K-12 Education Software Development and Consulting Company to identify, solicit and negotiate new strategic alliances with venture capital funds and create and implement successful go-to-market business strategies.  Managed P&L and all aspects of the brand management process, including business and financial planning, sourcing, product development, package design, strategy, positioning, pricing, sales and marketing, cost management, logistics, import/export, quality control and general administration.

•Recruited as interim Sr. Vice President – Business Development & Strategic Planning by startup consulting firm to develop and facilitate successful go-to-market business and strategic partnering strategies, both domestic and off-shore, with high profile software, carrier and consulting companies including Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, BEA Systems, Sun Microsystems, EMC, Dell, Cisco, Verizon, AT&T, Vodafone, British Telecom, Verizon, Sprint, Qwest, PWC, Accenture, KPMG, EDS, and Bearing Point, CapGemini, Deloitte.  Provided execution oriented planning and leadership services working with private equity firms, small- to mid-cap private companies, and corporations through strategic planning, due-diligence, merger, acquisition, and successful post-integration initiatives.

•Recruited by industry leading Global Mobile Marketing Company to design, perform and oversee corporate process improvement strategies/initiatives/projects and key analysis to support corporate and business unit strategy development, both domestic and off-shore. Lead negotiator for domestic and international connectivity carriers and aggregators AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Vodafone, T-Mobile, BT, Airtel, MetroPCS, to meet corporate revenue and operations objectives.

•Worked closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer to set and execute on Company priorities

•Successfully developed, implemented and drove business-focused Technology Transformation initiatives to increase internal effectiveness and external competitiveness by $220M.

•Evaluated, reengineered and developed IT processes and procedures for optimal corporate and network service provider performance.

•Created and executed Technology Transformation strategies to eliminate 80+ systems while significantly increasing productivity.

AT&T, Atlanta, GA, Chief Information Officer-SBS • 1996-1998

•Led development/implementation of IT Governance, IT Transformation, performance contracts, Service Level Agreements, strategic architecture, desktop/network/operations/tech services, programs, policies, procedures and long-range business plans.

•Developed and implemented AT&T’s first in-house ETL marketing information system to gather, sort, analyze, evaluate, and distribute pertinent, timely and accurate information for use by marketing decision makers to improve their marketing planning, implementation, and control and provide information about new technologies, markets, customers, the economic and regulatory environment.

•Responsible for Strategic & Tactical Market Planning, New Product Introduction & Launches and Market Opportunity Identification and Positioning.

•Introduced and positioned 3 new product lines (offsite data storage, data security in e-centers and managed network services) delivering $280.4M annual revenue.

•Executed innovative strategies to negotiate no-cost vendor consulting services for prototype project management, reducing consultation expenses by $9.5M+.

•Instituted Partner Advisory Board and raised $5.5M in prototype lab funding.

•Developed/managed critical strategic corporate alliances with Oracle, Sun, IBM, BEA and Nortel Networks.
